John Weaver ArtNotes

“ I like to get to know each piece of my finished work for awhile.  It is a search, a journey, a pondering, much like meditation.  Eventually it speaks to me.  When it does, it is done.  I never view it the same again.  That is how I know I have found what it wanted to say.”  – John Weaver

First comes the clay.  It is formed with the artists hands and Raku-fired to produce beautiful colors, patterns and textures. From the finished pieces, the artist draws out images with which he creates dramatic wall pieces.

These same, large format, highly detailed, high resolution images were used to produce these phenomenal small format pieces.  This gives them a crisp, dynamic, original look.
